The start/finish and aid station will be at the Sugarbush Pavilion with a water only aid station approximately 1.5 miles into the loop. Those competing can register for the 3-hour, 6-hour or 12-hour option and complete as many loops as they want/can within the allotted time. The course will take runners through the Algerine Wild Area and Red Run sections of the Black Forest Trail that are full of technical single track, streams, and awesome vistas. The trail encompasses Philipsburg’s picturesque Cold Stream Dam and recreation area, full of nature’s best offerings. There will be entertainment and prizes, and all proceeds benefit the Philipsburg Revitalization Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to reviving our beloved, little, historic town. The participant that runs the most loops in 3-hours will be the winner.

This fun and challenging weekend will offer our runners the chance to try a non-conventional distance (Half/Half Marathon 6.55 miles) on Saturday along with a traditional (Half Marathon 13.1 miles) on Sunday.
